It’s the flu bug season. How are you keeping?
There are many opinions about what to do when you are down with a cold/flu. Personally, I’ll be drinking lots of water (more than usual), increase my Vitamin C dosage (up to 5,000mg a day) and adding lemon to my favourite Manuka honey.
Recently I was told about an effective remedy of chewing a clove of raw garlic by my acupuncturist. Well, I did what she advised and the cold was gone the next day! Well, I couldn’t handle the strong taste so I chewed it with some manuka honey – tasted alot better.
Another remedy I tried was to add a quarter teaspoon of cayenne pepper to a glass of water mixed with honey and lemon. Take a couple of that and you can watch your flu bug disappear faster than usual!
