I love oats for breakfast. It’s a quite ‘pick-me-up’ for me in the mornings, especially when my day usually starts with getting as much dedicated work done before my little boy comes home from school.
Do you know that a bowl of oats a few times a week can prevent the risk of heart disease? Oats contain a particular form of chemicals known as ‘avenanthramides’, which literally ‘cleans up’ your arteries.
You can add bananas or sliced apples or your favourite fruits to the oats to make it more delicious. Sprinkle some nuts and stir in a little molasses sugar and that makes a perfect breakfast!
