Every single woman goes through this phase in her life known as ‘change of life’, commonly known as menopause. It is a point at which a woman stops ovulating and menstruation ceases, which also indicates the end of fertility.
The menopausal period is differnt for every woman with some starting earlier and some later. This transition can last up to five years with few or no symptoms. Some of the symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, fatigue, dizziness, headabces, anxiety, depression, poor libido, bladder problems, vaginal itching, breast tenderness, insomnia and even menopause memory problems.
It must be remembered that menopause is not a disease. It is a natural process in a woman’s life. With proper diet, nutritional supplements and exercise, and a positive outlook, most of the unpleasant side effects can be minimized, if not eliminated.
