A number of my close friends have had Lasik done, including my brother in law, who unfortunately experienced some Lasik Complications. Due to this, his vision is a little blurry and he has difficulties focusing on certain objects. I could still recall his frustrations and displeasure with the Lasik surgeon on this matter.

I’m not sure if anyone out there is facing any Lasik complications or would like to know more about the subject. If you do, check out the information at Complicated Eyes, a resource site that provides information on all types of Lasik complications.

No matter how safe it is, I still think it’s important to consider the possible outcomes that might affect our life. It’s our responsibility to do so if we are concerned with our health.

Yes Terri – I definitely agree to that :)

PRK is another option. I’m currently researching the differences between LASIK and PRK, but so far all of the findings point toward LASIK as being the safest. Still, any surgery has potential complications so you have to weigh the risks vs the benefits.

How long ago did your brother in law get the procedure. I guess I’m lucky. I got it done in 04 and haven’t had any problems. He may be eligible for some readjustments.
