organic cotton

I have been doing a little research on wearing organic clothing lately. As I have eczema or skin sensitivity conditions, I prefer skin moisturizers and lotions that are free from chemicals and preservatives. I believe natural and organic skin care should also be used on babies and young children as their skin is sensitive at this age. is my personal belief when it comes to baby care and especially there is a rising number of children with skin allergy and eczema from birth. The truth is some of us may not even know that a rash or itch experienced is caused by our skin’s allergic reactions to the dyes and chemical traces of conventional cotton.

Some may still wonder why should we go through the trouble of wearing organic cotton outside our bodies. Isn’t that taking things just a little too far? It is important to realize that the difference between organic and conventional cotton is in the use of pesticides and insecticides in the farming process. Numerous chemical baths and treatments are used for conventional cotton and in addition, dyes that sometimes contain heavy metals are also used. As for organic cotton, it is dyed with low-impact environmental dyes or dyed with natural colorants such as clay and is processed without the use of chemicals and either left natural.
