My detox came to an end on Thursday and this had been one of my best so far. This was the first detox that came with serious healing reactions such as fever, bad cough, excessive elimination of mucus and phlegm. But it was also one which didn’t caused any hunger pangs even though I didn’t eat alot, other than 3-4 glasses of carrot+apple juice and some baked and steamed potatoes on occasional dinners.
I was feeling energized despite those healing reactions and I wasn’t bothered about abstaining from my regular diets at all. I lost 3 kg in total and my face is looking brighter and clearer. I am feeling refreshed and truly rejuvenated. Following the end of my detox, the first few days was an easy adjustment onto my normal diet and I have promised myself to eat healthily and wisely from now on. I’m still omitted meats at the moment until I feel that my body is ready to take it so animal proteins. But for now, I’m making a habit to consume more fresh foods than before and following a healthy eating pattern.
If you haven’t done a detox before, I strongly encourage you to try one this year. You have no idea what good it can do for you, provided you do it conscientiously and properly, not half-heartedly or else you will be getting results less than satisfactory.
