Regular exercise on a daily basis helps to assure abundant oxygen to all body organs and efficient elimination of carbon dioxide. When the breathing function is not efficiently developed, the carbon dioxide in the tissues and blood is not carried away rapidly enough. This results in an overacid blood and reduction of oxygen supply to the heart and brain. Some people use a pulse oximeter to measure the oxygen in the blood. Blood also carries carbon dioxide from the tissues to the lungs, where it is released to be exhaled from the body.
Thus, we need to learn to breathe properly. Oxygen, when inhaled into the lungs, is attracted to the iron in the hemoglobin of red blood corpuscles and is carried by the blood into every organ, tissue and cell of the body for purposes of oxidation and energy production.
