where hope abounds

Lately I have been coming across some information on addiction treatments and recovery which led me to think about a younger cousin whom I grew up with. He got into some mess and bad company in his early teens and became a drug addict which led him to a stage hopelessness.

While he is still serving his jail term in a local prison, I can only feel for him mum who wept and went through so much pain in the last 15 years.
