The last few days had been hectic for me as I was busy over our last mega project of the year. As such, I was suffering from a flu that led to a throat infection then fever and chills. I’m glad the fever and chills are over. As a result of the haze and stress, my skin is suffering a little too.

The antioxidants and other phytochemicals in these fruits can protect the skin cells, so there is less chance for damage. This in turn guards against premature aging, and keeps skin looking younger longer. Other fruits and vegetables that are high in antioxidants include artichokes, black, red, and pinto beans, prunes, and pecans.
