In a few days’ time, I’m off for a short break from the daily routine and I am looking forward to it. Holidays are a perfect time to enjoy and chill out with families and friends. It’s also great for some ‘me-time’… this can also be a holistic treatment for those who are living stressful lives. But holidays should also be a time where we need to watch our diet and not go overboard in our indulgence.
Having said that, people tend to over indulge and overeat during holidays. If you are the kind who keep to a fitness routine, you might end up worrying about the increasing waistline. You can still stay healthy and fit by savoring all the good food during your holidays. Here are some things to take note:
• Control your food portion size during meal times. Eat your favourite foods in moderation. Overindulgence will show around your waistline.
With a little of planning, a proper goal setting and a dose of discipline and control over your desires, you can enjoy the holiday season while staying in great shape throughout.
