It has been a busy two weeks with school holidays and the long easter break. I haven’t been sleeping too well due to a bad neck and I can’t wait for a good chiropractic massage next week. I find myself scrunching for time to relax and one of the best ways is to get into the garden and do some herb pruning!
When it comes to relaxation, there are many things one can do. Besides laying on the couch with a good book and sipping a cup of coffee in the lounge, I love gardening. It is relaxing and fulfilling for me to see my herbs grow and thriving. One of the things I love to get is a bonsai tree for my garden. Though I know little about pruning or looking after a bonsai, I like the look of it. Having one in the patio or lounge table will be nice and I’m only concerned if my six year old will ‘prune’ it since he likes to keep himself busy! Since Mother’s day is around the corner, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get hubby to buy me a nice bonsai, huh?
For now, I would better head off to my garden to prune those herb plants of mine before the next bout of rain is here!
