knowing the danger of addictions

Do you know of someone who is addicted to drugs or alcohol and are dealing with this problem currently? If so, then you know far too well what alcoholism and drug addiction can do to a person. I am speaking this from experience as my dad was an alcoholic. Alcoholism ruined my dad’s career and family life which ultimately led to my parents’ divorce.
