All Natural Safe Products for Babies, Kids & Sensitive Adults
March 26, 2007 |

If you are looking for good all-natural safe products for your babies or kids without harmful ingredients (SLS or DEA), I would recommend these few trusted brands that I had personally tried:
California Baby has a wide range of bath-time, skin care, baby care, natural pregnancy, suncare and repellent products for babies, kids and sensitive adults. Founded by Jessica Iclisoy, she developed the line of all-natural products when she found out the harmful ingredients found in her baby son’s shampoo. My favourites in CB: Aloe Vera cream, Calendula cream, Calming shampoo and shower gel, and Colds and Flus bubble bath. Both the Aloe Vera and Calendula cream are light and fluffy and glides nicely on the skin with healing and soothing properties. Calms irritated skin down with one application and the scent is natural and lovely.
2) Burt’s Bees
You will never find anything toxic and artificial such as petroleum and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is a harsh, aggressive ingredient in Burt’s Bees products. Only the most natural ingredients and natural colors - Beta-Carotene, Chlorophyll, Titanium Dioxide and Mica are used. I keep Dr Burt’s Res-Q Ointment in my handbag for any emergencies such as scrapes, cuts, bumps and bruises. Natural herbs like comfrey helps promote healing with allantoin, which has regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties. Lavandin helps prevent scarring. Check out Burt’s Bees’ range of products for lip, face, body, baby, natural remedies, cosmetics, haircare and men’s grooming.
3) Badger
Here is another trusted brand that promises these things in their products:
Three things you should know about Badger products: 100% Natural. No chemicals, synthetics, GMO’s, parabens, toxic preservatives or animal testing. 70%-100% certified organic ingredients are used in almost every product. Always naturally processed as chemical processing can rob the life from a natural botanical that was originally designed by nature to be whole and good.
Like me, Clayton has sensitive skin and is proned to mosquitoes bites. What I like about the Anti Bug Balm is that it smells good, feels good, soothes dry skin, and it really works. I found out from the website that Badger Bill personally tested this concept in Tamil Nadu, India where the Malaria mosquito is especially fierce, and in the biting fly wilderness of the Georgia Okefenokee Swamp. He found it both pleasant to use and very effective at preventing bites.
I rub the Winter Wonder Balm on Clayton when he is down with a stuffy nose or a cough. It doesn’t ‘remove’ the symptoms but I believe that the ointment does provide gentle relief to little ones, and the ingredients used - Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Ravensara and Tea Tree are safer than those found in pharmacies.
For US residents, you get these products, order them directly from the respective websites. For those staying in Singapore, Malaysia or the Asia-Pacific region, you can order online from Whoopeekiddies.

[…] As I have dry skin, choosing the right moisturizer, hand cream and foot cream can be daunting. Some lotions and creams have claimed to work but the results don’t usually deliver. that creme is so soothing and moisturizing for dry, chapped, busy and tired hands. I had mentioned in my earlier posts on the natural goodness of Burts Bees products. […]
[…] I ordered a whole bunch of Burts Bees products few weeks ago and finally collected them during my trip back to Singapore. I had mentioned in my earlier posts on the natural goodness of Burts Bees products. What I like about Burts Bees is the passion and strong philosophy behind using natural ingredients. […]
