Pursuit for Natural Health Remedies for 2011

It seems like yesterday that we are celebrating a new year and making all our new year goals to stay healthier, fitter and happier. In a twinkle of an eye, the new year will be here and we will enter into a year of new challenges, hopes and dreams. I ask myself myself just what do I want to achieve in the coming year. Apart from following my passion for natural health remedies, I am listing down the things I want to do for 2011.

I am very thankful to God that my health has been much better compared to 2009 where I had two bouts of pneumonia and was hospitalized once. This year I was much better and my allergies was well controlled. It is God who has healed me and I have Him to give thanks. This has been a very eventful year for us as we move into a new country and environment. I am sure Australia has better air quality and with God’s help, my sinuses and allergies will become less of an issue. We went shopping for boxing day sales and I was glad to pick up some good natural health supplements at discounted prices. I am considering a study in natural and holistic health this year down under.

So as this year comes to an end, may you hope for a healthier year of better habits and holistic practices. Live life and be filled with joy and inner peace. Fill your heart with forgiveness as this is one of life’s greatest natural health remedies.

Better Skin With Natural Health Remedies

This morning, I read an article about how some women were getting botox treatment from an unqualified or certified esthetician or it seems to me that many women are willing to take huge risks for the sake of beauty and saving money. Then again, if they were to educate themselves with natural health remedies, the risks may be minimized. Why don’t they take some time to think about what the natural health remedies advocates have been preaching: that the secret to their beauty is love, joy, and laughter. It might very well be true since the mind really controls our body, and that includes the skin.

More money and more beauty treatments don’t mean more beautiful skin. Some people are not willing to make changes to their lifestyle habits and think that money can buy them better or better skin and health. You and I know that this is absolute baloney. People who are obese or very overweight may need fat burner with the advice of a health professional. And if you truly need some artificial skin treatments such as Botox, please do it with a qualified person – esthetician or doctor.

By educating more people on natural health remedies, it will encourage more people to pursue natural health and in turn, benefit the skin and body. There are lots of holistic information in the web and if you aren’t that sort who likes e-material, visit the nearest bookstore or library to gather more knowledge.

Healthy Diet Snacks – A Better Option

I enjoy reading magazines and books on organic, holistic and natural health therapies. Recently, I read that one of the effective ways to improve one’s diet is to change to a wholesome one which also includes healthy diet snacks. It is good to increase the fiber in your diet, which will clean out your colon of all negative weight loss inhibitors. This means that instead of eating refined or processed foods, you should eat whole grain foods like brown rice and whole wheat bread. These foods have more fiber and less trans fat and cholesterol.[DFR::455600165-7669-ss|align_right_1]

You should also increase your input of protein, minerals and vitamins. To do this it is good to eat more fruits and vegetables and substitute red meat for fish and chicken as they have less calories and fat and still provide more protein. For people who are seeking for holistic weight loss options, junk food should be eliminated. This includes candy, chips, popcorn, ice cream, milk shakes and soda. You can substitute fruits and vegetable snacks instead. Healthy diet snacks and shakes are healthier snacking choices instead of sodas and regular milk shakes. You will find this makes a huge difference in your sugar and fat intake. So when you are setting out your outdoor chairs and patio tables on the weekends, make sure you laid out some healthy choices and skip those salted chips and sugary snacks.[DFR::455600156-7669-ss|align_left_1]

When looking for diet snacks, look out for natural and healthy ones that can satisfy your hunger, supply your body with energy, and provide important nutrients for your body.
